1. Artist submits digital images of their work via the online submission process.
2. The juror will select art for the exhibition from the digital images. He will select award-winners after viewing the artwork at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
3. Paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, photographs, computer graphics, and mixed-media are eligible.
4. Artists may enter no more than five works.
5. Size (height plus width plus depth) may not exceed 15 feet including frame and any base that is attached to a sculpture. Maximum weight is 150 pounds.
6. Art must be original and be completed in 2016, 2017, or 2018. Art shown in prior MAG or MMFA exhibitions is not eligible. Artists may not substitute for accepted artworks.
7. Art must be finished, dry, framed or gallery wrapped, and suitable for display. Any entry the MMFA considers offensive or that does not meet exhibition criteria will be rejected.
8. Art must be labeled to match information on the registration form, which will be used for the catalogue.
9. Images of art selected for the show may be used for promotional purposes by MAG and/or MMFA.
10. Artist statements (one page max) are requested when the art is delivered.
Digital Images
1. Images should represent the art as accurately as possible.
2. Submit 1 image per two-dimensional entry; 2 images per sculpture entry.
3. The photo of your entry must be 300 ppi, in JPG or PNG format, with the longest dimension at least 7 inches. The submission must be between 960 pixels and 4600 pixels on its longest side (that is, it can be no smaller than 960 pixels on its longest side, and no larger than 4600 pixels on the longest side). The maximum file size for an image is 4 mb.

Participation in the 43rd MAG/MMFA exhibition is only open to active members of the Montgomery Art Guild. If your membership is not current as of September 2018, you can join the guild and pay for membership when submitting for the museum exhibition via ArtCall. Current members are listed on the roster of MAG at www.MontgomeryArtGuild.org. MAG membership provides advance notice of MAG exhibitions, member rates for exhibitions, invitations to workshops, and other benefits. Students must be current members of MAG and include a copy of current student ID with entry fee. Sales
A 25% commission will be assessed by MAG on the sale of art in the exhibition. Prices will be printed in the catalogue. All art will be for sale unless otherwise designated. Artists are responsible for submitting sales tax to the State of Alabama. Please direct sales inquiries to Alisa Koch, exhibition co-chair (contact information below).
